His video was up for 3 days, and had already gotten over 67 000 000 views!!! If only 20% the people visited an adf.ly link, that would still be $40 000 in 3 days. However, the person who uploaded the video did not seem to monetize the video at all, making no money...
Now that guy was stupid. YOU can be different and make the $200 000 he never did. Here’s how

Get prepared. What you need is a program to download videos off websites
such as “Download Helper”. You should also get a Free Screen Recorder,

STEP 2:
Start lurking around on US Breaking news websites, such as www.CNN.com, www.foxnews.com and www.cbsnews.com . You have to be very patient and wait around, until you find a good video with viral potential.
Examples of videos that are guaranteed to go viral- Ghost Videos (Michael Jackson’s ghost) Live TV stuff-ups (People swearing live on air, Celebrities hitting paparazzi, “Wardrobe malfunctions” ).
So just wait around until a video like this pops up on one of the news websites. It may take a while to find a good lead, you may have to wait several days. Bookmark the “Breaking News” sites and check back occasionally.

STEP 3:
Got your video? Now it is time to act FAST. Try downloading the video
using “Download Helper”. If it doesn’t work, what you have to do is
record the video with your screen recorder. (Make sure the volume is
right if you are recording).
Now upload the video onto YouTube. Make sure you have a good title, description and tags.

Take a break. You don’t need to do anything for the next few hours.

Now, check back on your video. If everything is working well as planned, you should have a few thousand views. If not, try and submit to more websites similar to www.i-am-bored.com .

PayPal joins the ranks of companies such as Mozilla and Google by launching a bug bounty program that compensates security researchers who report vulnerabilities which might affect the online payment service and its customers.
“Today I’m pleased to announce that we have updated our original bug reporting process into a paid ‘bug bounty’ program. The experience from other companies such as Facebook, Google, Mozilla, Samsung and others who have implemented similar programs has been very positive,” PayPal’s Chief Information Security Officer Michael Barrett explained.
“I originally had reservations about the idea of paying researchers for bug reports, but I am happy to admit that the data has shown me to be wrong – it’s clearly an effective way to increase researchers attention on Internet-based services and therefore find more potential issues.”
So, how does the bug bounty program work?
The process is fairly simple. The researcher submits his findings to sitesecurity@paypal.com by using the PGP public key that’s available here.
Then, PayPal’s own security team determines the severity of the issue and assigns it a priority. The development team takes over and addresses the issue.
Once the bug is fixed, the expert is paid via a verified PayPal account.
The vulnerabilities that researchers can report are split into four categories: cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), SQL Injection, and authentication bypass.
“While a small handful of other companies have implemented bug bounties, we believe we are the first financial services company to do so. It’s yet another example of the innovation that PayPal is bringing to shake up the industry as the world moves more and more payments online,” Barrett concluded.
We applaud PayPal’s decision to reward security experts because this decision will not only make the payment platform safer, but it will also encourage the responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities.

involve fake updates.A new scheme discovered by Zscaler experts begins
with a shady website that displays a phony video window which urges
users to install Adobe Flash Player in order to view a clip.
The update is actually a fake extension for web browsers. Depending on
the application the victim is running, he/she is presented with a .XPI
file (Firefox), a .CRX file (Google Chrome), or a .exe (Internet
Explorer).
Once installed, these extensions allow the attacker to gain access to the infected machine.
However, this is not the main concern. The problem is that most antivirus solutions are unable to detect malicious extensions because they’re basically text files. While the executable is easily identified as being a threat, the .XPI and the .CRX are not appointed as being dangerous by any of the AV engines from VirusTotal.
Another thing worth mentioning is the fact that fake browser add-ons don’t contain malicious code. Instead, they fetch and execute the code that causes the actual damage when the browser is launched.
“The current files being pulled are not very dangerous, but that could change in the future. An invisible IFRAME is inserted in each new page loaded. The IFRAME contains advertising from resultsz.com, and contains a username in the URL,” Zscaler’s Julien Sobrier explained.
He believes that the adware’s creator makes a profit by generating traffic towards a specific website.
“The author could change the remote file at any moment to do much more harm, like stealing cookies to obtain access to the user accounts on any site, stealing username/credentials being entered or previously saved, etc,” he concluded.
So, the best thing you can do to protect yourself against such threats is to avoid downloading shady updates from untrusted websites.
